The Totally Intelligent Logistics Inquiry Service (TILIS) is a web based, shared infrastructure designed and built for the national transport and logistics (T&L) industry. TILIS enables real-time collaboration, knowledge exchange and access to extensive business, training and education resources, irrespective of users location or activity within the transport and logistics industry.
Like most infrastructure projects many in the industry know little about the Totally Intelligent Logistics Inquiry Service (TILIS). This is despite intense interest from a number of local and international companies that want early access. Because TILIS is a "behind-the-scenes" and almost invisible technology, TALC has developed the education and training application to demonstrate the power of TILIS. However, TILIS is more than education and training - it is an "integration engine" that can connect whole commercial systems via the web - B2B, B2C, many-to-many and peer-to-peer.
